Streetside Pizza was founded by Mari Troutman, a Filipino-American in 2021. Born in Quezon City, Mari lived in the United States of America for almost 15 years before returning to the Philippines with her husband and founding Streetside Pizza’s first branch in Marikina Heights. From these humble beginnings, the brand and products began to grow exponentially. The sales were so high that we could barely keep the shelves stocked many days, and some days, no matter how many staff we had, we simply couldn’t keep up with the orders and there would be waiting lists to get pizza!

Over time, our operations and expertise adapted and grew, as well as the amount of equipment and training level of staff. In 2022, we opened our second branch on Kamuning Rd, near Cubao & New Manila. Then in 2023 we opened two more branches, one in Don Antonio Heights, Quezon City, and one in Nangka, Marikina. By the end of 2025 we plan to open five to six new branches, more than doubling our current number of outlets.

Our business model is simple: we provide high quality pizza at affordable prices. It’s more labor intensive and it’s more difficult this way, but each restaurant hand-stretches every dough at the time of the order. We make our own dough and sauces every day from scratch. As we grow, we could opt for the path of the bigger pizza chains and make everything more automated and more “cookie-cutter.” But that would sacrifice the quality of our product. On the other hand, we could raise our prices and sell less pizza, but then not as many would be able to afford it. So we are aiming for the middle ground: big pizza chain quantities, but small, local pizza store quality. And our price? Cheaper than both! So this is our story and our vision; let’s see how far we can take it!
